any help with this will be very much appreciated

basically because the law was changed to allow the successful party yo claim costs from the losing one giving birth to no win no fee misnomer. This title is incorrect because under law you can claim 100% of your compensation and your costs such as your solicitor in addition

Dont know specifically but it could be that the UK decided to copy USA and sue for every little thing rather than just serious. life changing injuries like we used to. It would have cost the govt a fortune. Plus if you win a personal injury claim, you get your costs paid by the other side, so theres no need for legal aid in a successful claim, and most solicitors wont take on a claim unless theyre pretty sure its going to be successful

Because the system was being regularly abused. Legitimate proven claims would include an amount for Legal costs - and quite rightly !
